Historique
Maison construite par Jean Pradal, lieutenant général au baillage royal de 1518 à 1538. Sur la rue, une porte sous arc en tiers point porte sur le linteau trois têtes en bas-relief, dont l'une passe pour être le portrait d'un bailli de Montferrand. De belles moulures prismatiques, de pinacles, et des choux gras accompagnent cette porte et son arc de décharge dont le tympan reste ajouré. Sur la rue Notre-Dame, ouvre la cour dépendant de cette maison. La voûte soutenant la galerie de communication au-dessus de la porte donnant sur la rue Notre-Dame, est portée sur une croisée d'ogive à moulurations. Au rez-de-chaussée du logis donnant sur la rue de la Fontaine sont, à la clef de voûte, les armes des Mallet de Vendègre. De cet immeuble dépendaient encore les maisons qui bordent au midi la rue de Notre-Dame.

History
House built by Jean Pradal, lieutenant general to the royal bailiage from 1518 to 1538. On the street, a door under a pointed arch bears on the lintel three heads in bas-relief, one of which is said to be the portrait of a bailli of Montferrand. Fine prismatic mouldings, pinnacles, and fat leaves accompany this door and its relieving arch whose tympanum remains open-worked. On the rue Notre-Dame, opens the courtyard belonging to this house. The vault supporting the gallery of communication above the door giving onto the rue Notre-Dame, is supported on a rib vault with mouldings. On the ground floor of the dwelling giving onto the rue de la Fontaine are, at the keystone of the vault, the arms of the Mallet of Vendègre. To this building still belonged the houses which border to the south the rue de Notre-Dame.
