En 1622, Richelieu fut l'abbé commandataire du monastère dont les bâtiments furent totalement reconstruits au 17e siècle, sous la direction du frère Plouvier. De cette époque subsistent les quatre bâtiments s'ordonnant autour du cloître (portes s'ouvrant sur les galeries du cloître ; culots sculptés) , auxquels s'ajoutent trois édifices du 19e siècle, suite à la transformation de l'abbaye en collège par les Eudistes qui s'y installèrent en 1839. Le chanoine Brune a conçu la chapelle, en dessinant l'autel et les vitraux.

History
In 1622, Richelieu was the commendatory abbot of the monastery whose buildings were completely rebuilt in the 17th century, under the direction of Brother Plouvier. From this period there remain the four buildings arranged around the cloister (doors opening onto the cloister galleries; carved corbels), to which are added three buildings from the 19th century, following the transformation of the abbey into a college by the Eudists who settled there in 1839. Canon Brune designed the chapel, drawing the altar and the stained-glass windows.
