Entourage couvert de l'accès à la station du métro, dessiné en 1900 par l'architecte Hector Guimard pour la Compagnie générale du Métropolitain de Paris. S'apparentant à l'édicule conservé à la station Porte Dauphine, il était situé à l'origine sur la ligne 1 (inaugurée en 1900) à la station Hôtel de Ville (entrée rue Lobau). Inscrit le 27 juillet 1965, il a été démonté en 1972 à l'occasion de la réalisation d'un parking souterrain, et remonté à la station Abbesses (ligne 12) , bien que Guimard n'ait jamais réalisé des entourages pour cette ligne Nord-Sud. Il a été protégé de nouveau dans le cadre d'un arrêté portant sur l'ensemble des réalisations subsistantes de Guimard pour le métro.

Covered surround of the access to the metro station, designed in 1900 by architect Hector Guimard for the Compagnie générale du Métropolitain de Paris. Resembling the kiosk preserved at Porte Dauphine station, it was originally located on line 1 (inaugurated in 1900) at Hôtel de Ville station (entrance rue Lobau). Registered on 27 July 1965, it was dismantled in 1972 on the occasion of the construction of an underground car park, and reassembled at Abbesses station (line 12), although Guimard never realized surrounds for this North-South line. It was protected again under an order concerning all the surviving realizations by Guimard for the metro.
