Historique
Conçu à l'origine comme un "bar de dégustation" pour "tout ce qui vient de la mer", le restaurant-bar Prunier est construit en 1925 par l'architecte Louis-Hippolyte Boileau, en collaboration avec le dessinateur Léon Carrière. Le décor de style Art Déco comporte aussi des gravures sur verre de Paul Binet et des panneaux de métal doré par le sculpteur Le Bourgeois. La façade du restaurant, dont les couleurs et volutes évoquent l'ambiance marine, est réalisée par le mosaïste Auguste Labouret, auteur également des revêtements du sol en pâte de verre, mis en place par l'entreprise Briard. Le restaurant a été réhabilité en 1993 par l'architecte Yves Boucharlat.

History
Originally designed as a "tasting bar" for "everything that comes from the sea", the Prunier restaurant-bar was built in 1925 by the architect Louis-Hippolyte Boileau, in collaboration with the draughtsman Léon Carrière. The Art Deco style decoration also comprises engravings on glass by Paul Binet and panels of metal gilded by the sculptor Le Bourgeois. The facade of the restaurant, whose colours and scrolls evoke a marine atmosphere, was executed by the mosaicist Auguste Labouret, also author of the glass paste floor coverings, installed by the company Briard. The restaurant was rehabilitated in 1993 by the architect Yves Boucharlat.
