L'ancien séminaire, édifié en 1712 à l'initiative de Monseigneur Joseph de Revol, sera agrandi de deux ailes en 1762 par son petit neveu qui fit aménager une chapelle dans la partie droite. Victime d'un incendie en 1812, cette dernière sera reconstruite de 1834 à 1841 sous l'autorité de l'abbé Adoue pour y installer un collège. Sa décoration intérieure (toile marouflée et décor de lunettes) sera confiée en 1890 à Joseph Castaing.

History
The former seminary, built in 1712 at the initiative of Monsigneur Joseph de Revol, was enlarged by two wings in 1762 by his great-nephew who had a chapel fitted out in the right section. Victim of a fire in 1812, the latter was rebuilt from 1834 to 1841 under the authority of abbé Adoue to install a college there. Its interior decoration (marouflaged canvas and lunette decor) was entrusted in 1890 to Joseph Castaing.
