Les fenêtres ogivales permettent de penser que la tour remonte au 13e siècle. De chaque côté de la fenêtre du deuxième étage se trouvent des meurtrières jumelles en forme de croix oblongue. Selon une tradition ancienne, cette tour aurait été construite à l'époque et en mémoire des croisades, mais son architecture en reporte la date deux siècles plus tard. History
The ogival windows suggest that the tower dates to the 13th century. On each side of the window on the second floor are twin openings in the shape of an oblong cross. According to ancient tradition, this tower would have been built at the time and in memory of the Crusades, but its architecture places its date two centuries later. The two lower storeys may have served as a dwelling but the storey under roof space must have been an observation post, judging by the square openings which light it and allow sight only into the distance. On the west side, the tower appears to have been attached to a lower building according to the weathering course. On the north side and on the side facing the street, remains of weathering courses have probably protected overhangs leaning against the tower. The crenellation is still visible on the south side.
