L'immeuble renferme une cave qui est l'une des plus importantes conservées à Bayonne. Elle est à cinq travées voûtées d'ogives dont les arcs comportent un gros tore souligné d'un filet à profil outrepassé. Des anneaux circulaires ornent les clefs de voûte. Le fond de la nef conserve les traces de l'arrachement de l'ancien escalier d'accès. A l'autre extrémité subsisterait la dalle funéraire de monseigneur Gaspard de Prielle, évêque de Bayonne de 1681 à 1688. Au niveau de la troisième travée, une transenne circulaire percée dans l'un des quartiers de la voûte éclaire la cave. Elle s'ouvre à l'aplomb d'un puits dont la margelle a été retrouvée.

History
The building contains a cellar which is one of the most important preserved in Bayonne. It has five bays with rib vaults whose arches feature a large torus underlined by a moulding with an ogee profile. Circular rings adorn the vault keys. The end of the nave preserves traces of the tearing away of the former access staircase. At the other end would remain the sepulchral slab of Monseigneur Gaspard de Prielle, Bishop of Bayonne from 1681 to 1688. At the level of the third bay, a circular transenna pierced in one of the vault compartments lights the cellar. It opens plumb above a well whose rim has been recovered.
