Historique
Eglise construite vers le milieu du 13e siècle. Elle se compose d'une nef à chevet plat, comportant cinq travées, et d'un transept. Voûtes sur croisées d'ogives. Deux chapelles construites postérieurement s'ouvrent sur la nef, près des croisillons du transept. La façade occidentale est flanquée de deux tourelles carrées formant contreforts d'angle. Ces tourelles sont réunies par un chemin de ronde qui conserve son crénelage. Cette église pouvait être mise en défense et servir de refuge à la population. En arrière du chemin de ronde, un clocher pignon percé de trois baies réuni les deux tourelles. Dans la tourelle nord-ouest, un escalier à vis Saint-Gilles permet d'accéder au chemin de ronde. Le portail principal s'ouvre dans l'axe de la façade ouest. Des statuettes ornent les claveaux. A la pointe de l'archivolte en saillie se trouve une sorte d'épi élancé, mouluré et sculpté. La partie inférieure du tympan a été détruite. La partie supérieure subsiste avec trois personnages sculptés. Un remplissage moderne en maçonnerie avec arc en tiers-point, soutient la pointe du tympan.

History
Church built towards the middle of the 13th century. It consists of a nave with flat chevet, comprising five bays, and a transept. Vaults on rib vault intersections. Two chapels built subsequently open onto the nave, near the transept crossings. The west façade is flanked by two square turrets forming corner buttresses. These turrets are joined by a wall-walk which retains its crenellation. This church could be put in defence and serve as a refuge to the population. Behind the wall-walk, a gable bell tower pierced with three openings reunites the two turrets. In the north-west turret, a Saint-Gilles spiral staircase allows access to the wall-walk. The main portal opens in the axis of the west façade. Statuettes ornament the voussoirs. At the point of the projecting archivolt is found a sort of slender, moulded and sculpted spire. The lower part of the tympanum has been destroyed. The upper part subsists with three sculptured figures. A modern filling in masonry with a pointed arch, supports the point of the tympanum.
