Les châteaux de Roche à Clairac et de Sauveboeuf à Aubas avaient, entre les deux guerres, le même propriétaire. En vendant celui d'Aubas, il se réserve la fontaine qui est transportée ensuite à Clairac le 12 juin 1927. Un projet de retour à Sauveboeuf était envisagé à la fin des années 1990. La fontaine se compose de trois vasques superposées, diminuant successivement de diamètre et portées par des colonnes. Un motif décoré de figurines, que termine un amortissement prismatique, surmonte la plus élevée. Le fond de la première vasque est orné de quatre têtes de faune en haut relief. Les colonnes du troisième niveau s'épanouissent en volutes pour recevoir les piédouches de quatre pots-à-feu godronnés et surmontés de bobéchons cylindriques. Le motif central du couronnement est figuré par un rocher qui remplit le centre de la vasque et sur lequel deux hommes nus sont adossés à deux sirènes ailées. Au-dessus de leurs têtes s'élève un dé quadrangulaire couronné par un pinacle carré composé de gorges et de moulures superposées, terminées par un fleuron.

History
The châteaux of Roche at Clairac and of Sauveboeuf at Aubas had, between the two wars, the same owner. In selling that of Aubas, he reserves for himself the fountain which is then transported to Clairac on 12 June 1927. A project for return to Sauveboeuf was envisaged at the end of the 1990s. The fountain consists of three superimposed basins, successively diminishing in diameter and borne by columns. A motif decorated with figurines, terminating in a pyramidal finial, surmounts the highest. The bottom of the first basin is adorned with four faun heads in high relief. The columns of the third level spread out in volutes to receive the plinths of four gadroon pot-à-feu topped with cylindrical bobeches. The central motif of the crowning is figured by a rock which fills the centre of the basin and on which two naked men are backed against two winged sirens. Above their heads rises a quadrangular die crowned by a square pinnacle composed of superimposed gorges and mouldings, terminated by a finial.
