Historique
Construit vers le milieu du 16e siècle, le bâtiment appartenait à la famille de Pardaillan. Le 2 octobre 1578 s'y déroula la rencontre entre Henri de Navarre et Catherine de Médicis qui lui ramenait son épouse, Marguerite de Valois, dont il était séparé depuis sa fuite hors de Paris. Le logis primitif a été agrandi, côté ouest, par l'adjonction de divers bâtiments au 19e siècle. Ce logis comporte un bâtiment rectangulaire d'un étage contre lequel s'appuie, au centre du côté sud, une tour polygonale. Celle-ci abrite l'escalier en vis desservant les niveaux de l'édifice. De part et d'autre de cette tour, la façade sud conserve des fenêtres à meneaux moulurés. Les autres côtés de la demeure ont été modifiés mais des embrasures de tir sont encore visibles sur la façade nord.

History
Built around the mid-16th century, the building belonged to the Pardaillan family. On 2 October 1578 took place there the meeting between Henri of Navarre and Catherine de Medici who was bringing back to him his wife, Marguerite of Valois, from whom he had been separated since his flight from Paris. The original dwelling was enlarged, on the west side, by the addition of various buildings in the 19th century. This dwelling comprises a rectangular building of one storey against which leans, at the centre of the south side, a polygonal tower. This houses the spiral staircase serving the levels of the building. On either side of this tower, the south façade retains mullioned and moulded windows. The other sides of the residence have been modified but loopholes are still visible on the north façade.
