Church built at the beginning of the 12th century, and composed then of a nave followed by a choir and a semicircular sanctuary. From this period there remain the volumes of the choir, as well as the south wall of the nave. In the 14th century, the church is fortified by the elevation, starting from the Romanesque cornice of the chevet and the choir, of a crenellated parapet fitted with arrow slits. The 16th century brings the most important modifications with the addition of a vast aisle to the north of the church, a new vault over the nave, a bell tower, and the creation of new interior decoration composed of mural paintings some of which were to have for their theme the life of the lord of Bisqueytan. A first sacristy is built in the 17th century, then completely rebuilt in 1903. In the second half of the 19th century, the interior of the church is completely redecorated by Augier and Millet with a painting of false stone facing. The choir, the sanctuary and the east gable of the aisle are covered with geometric motifs. A religious scene adorned the apse. Stained glass windows dated 1862 filled all the openings (saints and religious scenes). Two polychrome wooden altars are added, and the flooring redone.
