Historique
La paroisse était, au 16e siècle, le centre de l'archiprêtré de Moulis. Elle possédait une ancienne église remontant au 12e siècle qui a subi d'importantes restaurations au 19e siècle. L'église comporte deux nefs, non voûtées à cause du voisinage d'une poudrerie. Seule la travée précédent l'absidiole sud est couverte d'une voûte d'ogives dont les nervures retombent sur des consoles sculptées. Au-dessus de cette voûte s'élève le clocher. L'abside est voûtée en cul de four.

History
The parish was, in the 16th century, the centre of the archpriest's jurisdiction of Moulis. It possessed an old church dating back to the 12th century which underwent major restoration in the 19th century. The church has two naves, not vaulted because of the proximity of a powder mill. Only the bay preceding the south apsidiole is covered with a rib vault whose ribs spring from carved corbels. Above this vault rises the bell tower. The apse is vaulted in cul de four.
