History
The dwelling was built around the middle of the 18th century by a Bordeaux merchant; it consists of a main dwelling, flanked by a perpendicular wing on the north side (remodelled in the 19th century). Inside, the various rooms have retained the essential elements of their original decoration. The perpendicular wing includes the former wine storehouse, the tenant farmers' house, the stable-garage and premises converted into museum rooms.
