Historique
François-Armand de Saige, ancien avocat général au Parlement de Bordeaux, élu maire de la ville en 1791, aurait fait construire ce château resté inachevé. De plan rectangulaire, la construction a été prolongée par un bâtiment à terrasse en forme d'hémicycle. Les façades se développent sur trois niveaux. Des frontons triangulaires couronnent chaque lucarne, sauf celle du centre qui possède un fronton cintré et qui marque ainsi la symétrie de la composition supérieure. Au rez-de-chaussée, l'entrée se trouve totalement décentrée vers l'ouest. Un porche à quatre colonnes toscanes est ajouté sur la façade nord. L'intérieur a été entièrement transformé. Au premier étage, une porte avec son décor ancien a été conservée.

History
François-Armand de Saige, former attorney general at the Parliament of Bordeaux, elected mayor of the city in 1791, is said to have had this castle built, which remained unfinished. Of rectangular plan, the construction was extended by a building with a terrace in the form of a hemicycle. The façades develop over three levels. Triangular pediments crown each dormer, except that of the centre which has a curved pediment and which thus marks the symmetry of the upper composition. On the ground floor, the entrance is completely off-centre to the west. A porch with four Tuscan columns is added to the north façade. The interior has been entirely transformed. On the first floor, a door with its original decoration has been preserved.
