Historique
La mise en adjudication pour réparation de l'hôtel de la Jurade, ou hôtel de ville, eut lieu en juin 1749. La menuiserie est l'oeuvre de Jean Ollivier. En mars 1750, la façade et l'arceau formant pont-douve étaient terminés. La cloche municipale, auparavant celle de l'église Saint-Giron dont le clocher s'était effondré, y fut placée. En avril 1766, une députation des Jurats auprès du duc de Richelieu obtint la permission de décorer la salle du conseil avec les armes du roi et celles des Richelieu. Façade classique surmontée d'un clocher à pans renflés, surmonté lui-même d'un clocheton. Au premier étage, encadrement fait de pilastres dont les chapiteaux ont des guirlandes séparées par des tableaux en relief.

History
The putting out to tender for repair of the hôtel de la Jurade, or town hall, took place in June 1749. The joinery is the work of Jean Ollivier. In March 1750, the façade and the arch forming drawbridge were completed. The municipal bell, formerly that of the church of Saint-Giron whose bell tower had collapsed, was placed there. In April 1766, a deputation of the Jurats to the Duke of Richelieu obtained permission to decorate the council chamber with the arms of the king and those of the Richelieu. Classical façade surmounted by a bell tower with swelled faces, itself surmounted by a small bell tower. On the first floor, framing made of pilasters whose capitals have garlands separated by relief panels.
