History

Hotel built from 1770 to 1773 by the architect Laclotte for the Labottière family, printers and booksellers. Under the Directory, the residence became a place of pleasure known as Tivoli where country festivals were organized by the architect Dufort-Marionneau. The hotel was purchased in 1857 by the Jesuit fathers who had the College of Saint-Joseph de Tivoli built in the dependencies of the estate. The latter was largely destroyed by fire in the early 20th century. Of rectangular form, the hotel presents a ground floor and one storey. It is crowned by a large entablature above which runs a cornice on modillions, surmounted by a balustrade. A second storey exists, hidden behind the balustrade. The opposite façade presents a projection in semi-circle. The interior preserves decoration in staff Louis XVI which replaced the old woodwork, which was sold.
