Bâtiment de deux étages carrés, datant de la deuxième moitié du 19e siècle, acheté en 1899 par Paul Berthelot, journaliste, critique d'art et dramaturge, rédacteur en chef de la Petite Gironde. Berthelot fait modifier la façade arrière de l'immeuble en rajoutant des bow-windows, ornés de vitraux par un artiste inconnu ; il fait décorer l'intérieur par d'autres artistes de sa connaissance, dont les peintres Emile Brunet, Félix Carmes et G. Georges.

History
Building of two square storeys, dating from the second half of the 19th century, bought in 1899 by Paul Berthelot, journalist, art critic and dramatist, editor-in-chief of the Petite Gironde. Berthelot had the rear façade of the building modified by adding bow-windows, decorated with stained glass by an unknown artist; he had the interior decorated by other artists of his acquaintance, including the painters Emile Brunet, Félix Carmes and G. Georges.
