Historique
L'édifice actuel fut bâti vers 1632. Le château se compose d'un corps de logis surmonté au centre et aux extrémités de trois pavillons carrés. Le pavillon central est flanqué côté sud d'une tourelle ronde. Devant la façade nord, précédée d'un perron et encadrée par deux longs ensembles de dépendances, s'étend une grande cour. La chapelle, érigée en 1709, échappe à l'incendie qui ravagea les bâtiments en 1795, et conserve ainsi un remarquable décor intérieur : murs tapissés de lambris, imitant le marbre dans le registre inférieur et rythmés de pilastres ioniques cannelés dans la partie supérieure. Les peintures ont été réalisées par Larraidy. Suite à l'incendie, des restaurations sont réalisées au cours du 19e siècle.

History
The present building was built around 1632. The château consists of a main dwelling surmounted at the centre and at the extremities by three square pavilions. The central pavilion is flanked on the south side by a round turret. In front of the north façade, preceded by a flight of steps and framed by two long sets of outbuildings, extends a large courtyard. The chapel, erected in 1709, escaped the fire which ravaged the buildings in 1795, and thus preserves a remarkable interior decoration: walls lined with panelling, imitating marble in the lower register and articulated by fluted Ionic pilasters in the upper part. The paintings were executed by Larraidy. Following the fire, restorations were carried out during the 19th century.
