Historique
L'ancienne paroisse et l'église dépendaient de la châtellenie et de l'archiprêtré de Ségur. L'édifice se compose d'une courte nef suivie d'un avant-choeur sous coupole, accosté de chapelles plus récentes (17e siècle) formant transept, et d'un choeur allongé. La nef semble être la partie la plus ancienne et paraît remonter à la fin du 11e siècle. Elle se composait, à l'origine, d'au moins trois travées voûtées en berceau, mais les murs devers en ont provoqué l'effondrement. Après l'effondrement, et probablement la ruine de la partie orientale, fut greffée à l'est de ce qui restait de la nef, une travée sous coupole octogonale. History
The old parish and the church depended on the castellany and the archpriest's office of Ségur. The building consists of a short nave followed by a fore-choir under a dome, flanked by more recent chapels (17th century) forming a transept, and a lengthened choir. The nave appears to be the oldest part and seems to date back to the end of the 11th century. It originally consisted of at least three bays vaulted in barrel vault, but the sloping walls caused their collapse. After the collapse, and probably the ruin of the eastern part, attached to the east of what remained of the nave, was a bay under an octagonal dome. The fore-choir must have been rebuilt towards the middle of the 12th century. The portal opens in the west façade: three round arches with pointed arches decorated with tores resting on four small columns with capitals sculpted with foliage and a man carrying a burden. A square bell tower rises above the porch tower.
