Edifice built by the bishop of Sarlat, Arnaud Gontant de Biron, whose construction extended from 1488 to 1527. Set on fire and half ruined by the Protestants, it was the subject of a complete restoration which gave it its present appearance. The edifice is composed of three naves of equal length, comprising four bays vaulted with groin vaults in front of the apses. In the central apse, a first bay forms the chevet, in front of the polygonal part with five sides. The apses terminating the aisles are polygonal with three sides. The central nave is preceded by a bell tower forming a porch. Square at the base, it passes to the octagon. The transition is managed by the extension of the corner buttresses. An independent turret contains the staircase. Beneath the porch opens a vast portal with central mullion, decorated with moulding.
