Historique
L'église de Sireuil dépendait, aux 13e et 14e siècles, de l'archiprêtré de Saint-André d'Allas et relevait directement de l'évêque. Suite aux guerres de Cent ans et de Religion, elle dut subir quelques dégâts. L'édifice comprend une nef sans travée, suivie d'un carré de transept avec petite chapelle latérale au nord, et un choeur polygonal. Le carré du transept est voûté d'une coupole sur pendentifs, et supportant le clocher qui est épaulé de quatre gros contreforts d'angle. Découronné à une époque indéterminée, il a été remonté au 18e siècle avec un léger retrait.

History
The church of Sireuil depended, in the 13th and 14th centuries, on the archpresbytery of Saint-André d'Allas and came directly under the bishop. Following the Hundred Years' War and Wars of Religion, it had to suffer some damage. The building comprises a nave without bay, followed by a transept square with small lateral chapel to the north, and a polygonal choir. The transept square is vaulted with a dome on pendentives, and supporting the bell tower which is braced by four large corner buttresses. Decrowned at an indeterminate period, it was rebuilt in the 18th century with a slight setback.
