Depuis la villa, la perspective centrale en plongée aboutit à une colonnade couverte se détachant sur la mer. Le jardin comporte également une pergola de seize piliers de marbre soutenant des arcs de briques et rappelant une mosquée en ruine.

Villa of Byzantine style built shortly after 1904 (year of the subdivision of the private estate of Cap-Martin) for Madame Robert Douine, wife of the director of the Grands Magasins du Louvre in Paris, by the architect Edouard Arnaud. The garden is a creation of Raffaële Maïnella, landscape and genre painter born in Benevento (Italy) in 1858. From the villa, the central perspective in plunging view leads to a covered colonnade standing out against the sea. The garden also comprises a pergola of sixteen marble pillars supporting brick arches and recalling a ruined mosque.
