The Montana State University Historic District is a historic district in Bozeman, Gallatin County, Montana, roughly bounded by West College and West Grant Streets and South 11th and South Sixth Avenues.

It was listed in the National Register in 2013 under criteria A and C, with state-level significance in education, agriculture, architecture and community planning and development. Its period of significance runs from 1893, when the Agricultural College was founded, to 1967.

Earlier campus buildings are faced in polychrome rug-faced brick and terra cotta detailing over granite foundations, with a semi-circular arched entrance, wrought iron ornament and a bronze plaque among their features. Later Modern and International style buildings use reinforced concrete, curtain walls of white precast Mo-Sai spandrel panels, and raised pilotis.

The campus began in 1893 with the founding of the Agricultural College, renamed Montana State University in 1965. A 1916 fire destroyed the 1896 Italianate Chemistry Building, and Gatton Field was razed in 1973 for the new Health and Physical Education Complex. In 1993 Montana Hall's cupola was rebuilt and the Malone Centennial Mall was completed; the former Engineering Shops, known as Ryon Laboratories, were demolished in 1995 for the new EPS Building.
