The Kahn Tailoring Company is a factory building at 800 North Capitol Avenue in Indianapolis, Marion County, built in 1913 in the Neoclassical Revival style. It was designed by Kurt Vonnegut Sr. and Arthur Bohn of the firm Vonnegut & Bohn.

The four-story building has reinforced concrete floors, walls and ceilings behind brick and concrete walls, trimmed with a limestone stringcourse and cornice, brick pilasters, and a decorative cartouche with scrollwork under a parapet. A 2014 rehabilitation using historic tax credits converted it to 111 residential units, with new metal sash windows and a metal canopy.
Historical context
Kahn Tailoring Company used the building as a warehouse and production facility from 1913 to 1954, and in 1919 workers agreed to a 44-hour week. In 1954 the company merged with Globe Tailoring Company and sold the building to LithoPress Inc., and the Kahn Tailoring brand disappeared from the market in 1970.
