Trebell's Landing

At Trebell's Landing, one mile southwest, the artillery and stores of the French and American armies for the siege of Yorktown were landed, September, 1781. These were conveyed by land (six miles) to Yorktown. The troops disembarked at the landings near Williamsburg.
