Battersea
ary oldiesortsatters, on Banistebu Four blocks north is Battersea, home of John Banister, Revolution- Petersburg in 1784. In 1781 British officers were quartered there. In the same year the noted French traveler Chastellux visited it, and later the Italian Count Castiglioni.
