Seven Days ' Battles Allen's Farm
Half a mile north took place the action of Allen's Farm, or Peach Orchard, in the morning of June 29, 1862. There Sumner's Corps, forming the Union rear, was attacked by Magruder at 9 A. M. Fighting lasted until 11 A. M., when the Unionists fell back to Savage's Station on the York River Railroad.
