Webbers Falls

Muskogee County · US-64 approximately 1/2 mile west of the Arkansas River Bridge

Walter Webber, a Western Cherokee chief, established a trading post at the falls on the Arkansas River. “Rich Joe” Vann established a plantation in the area. The village of Webbers Falls was burned by Union soldiers in April 1863.
