Katy Railroad Depot

Tulsa County · On south Main Street in Broken Arrow

Construction began on the 24 x 50 foot depot on May 13, 1903. It was of wood set on timber pilings with a red tin roof. It jutted onto Main Street to allow a good view of the town. Grain elevators and cotton gins sprang up south of the tracks with a stockyard to the east. In 1988 the old depot was moved to Discoveryland.
