AT6 Monument

Pushmataha County · on Sherman Rd., approximately three miles north of Moyers

Dedicated in memory of four British cadets who died in a plane crash in the Kiamichi Mountains during a training mission on February 20, 1943. The cadets were on a training mission en route to the No. 3 British Flying Training School in Miami, Oklahoma. The cadets were flying training aircraft known as AT-6s.

Monument is in a private residential development. Follow signage and stay on road. Note from the marker program.
