Monmouth County · Marker is at the intersection of N Main Street (County Route 527) and Water Street (County Route 522), on the left when traveling north on N Main Street.

Built in 1732. Here, after the Battle of Monmouth, Washington ordered the arrest of Lee, who had disobeyed battle orders.
