Elizabeth
Founded in 1665 and named in honor of Lady Elizabeth Carteret, wife of Lady Elizabeth Carteret, wife of Sir George Carteret. Boxwood Hall, home of Elias Boudinot, President of the Continental Congress, was built in 1750.
