Flemington Raid

Dec., 1776, Captain John Schenck and his men attacked a raiding British party, under Captain [sp.] Geary, between Copper Hill and Larison's Corner. Geary was killed and was buried near the scene of the skirmish. Washington passed through here, Nov., 1780.
