Textile mill 100 yds. N.E. target of strike, 1958-61. Effort failed, led to bombings that bolstered antiunionism. US 158 Business (North Garnett Street) at Old Norlina Road in Henderson. 2007 GGG-1 CONFEDERATE CEMETERY Graves of 52 soldiers individually marked, who died in the Kittrell Springs Hotel hospital 1864-65, are 1/2 mi. NE.
