Tide-Mill
Benjamin Potter, Jacob Newhall and William Curtis were granted the privilege of conducting a tide mill at the bridge at East Saugus 1721. On this site in 1722 Thomas Cheever and Ebenezer Merriam built a mill for grinding corn.
