Frog Woman Rock (registered 1949 as "Squaw Rock")

Squaw Rock, also called Lover's Leap, is associated with the legend of an early 19th century Sanel Indian maiden. According to the legend, she was Sotuka and her faithless lover was Chief Cachow, who married another. All three were killed, says the old story, when Sotuka, holding a great stone, jumped from the precipice upon the sleeping pair below.
