Anaheim Landing

Soon after the founding of the mother colony at Anaheim in 1857, Anaheim Landing was established as a port for the Santa Ana Valley by the Anaheim Landing Company. Despite treacherous entrance conditions, which caused several disasters, regular coastwise trade was carried on for about 15 years.
