Location
Lies on east side of A44 about 3.3km north-west of Llanfihangel Nant Melan.
Exterior
Probably late C18/early C19 Turnpike Trust milestone. Simple, low, roundheaded, painted sandstone. Inscribed: "Penybont/4 miles/Presteign 13+". Trig point at base.
Reason for designation
One of a well-preserved series of milestones in the area.
