Cadw's description

Situated on roadside of A 40 at upper end of Trecastle, to NE of Neuadd.

Large barn to former Neuadd home farm, probably late C18 or early C19.

Large barn, rubble stone with slate half-hipped roof carried down on road side over rear lean-tos in long continuous sweep interrupted by big hipped porch to left of centre with double boarded doors. Right end wall under half-hipped roof has been rebuilt in concrete blocks. Lean-to end adjoining is open below boarded triangle. Rubble stone low walls each side of porch.

Interior not inspected.

Included notwithstanding rebuilt end wall for its strong regional character and its importance in views at upper end of Trecastle.
