Cadw's description

Situated on roadside at W edge of hamlet.

Telephone call box of K6 type, designed in 1936 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott for the GPO. This one made before 1953.

Telephone kiosk, red-painted cast-iron with Soaneian shallow domed roof , George VI crowns in lunettes, over glazed rectangles lettered ''Telephone''. Sides and door are glazed with marginal panes. Blank rear.

Included for group value with Capel Soar and adjoining house.
