Situated on N side of the A40 about 150m E of Penpont drive.

Late C18 milestone on Brecon to Trecastle turnpike road.

Milestone, painted stone with curved head, inscribed in C18 lettering 'TO BRECON 5 Miles TO Trecastle ... (lower numeral obscured, presumably 7).

Included for its special historic interest as a good surviving early milestone, with well-carved lettering.
