Cadw's description

On the E side of the farmhouse.

Built in the late C19, perhaps as a calf cot and shown on the 1889 Ordnance Survey.

A weatherboarded timber-framed farm building on a rubble-stone plinth, and corrugated-iron roof. The W gable end, facing the house and yard, has a split boarded door to the L and boarded loft door. A full-height boarded door is in the N side wall, and a shuttered opening is on the L side of the S wall.

Listed for its special interest as an outbuilding of definite character and as part of a strong farm group at Hirfron.
