Cadw's description

Approximately 400m NW of Wye Bridge, adjacent to the Royal Welsh Showground.

A mid C19 mile marker shown on the 1889 Ordnance Survey.

A freestone mile marker with segmental top, painted white with black lettering. It reads 'Rhayader XIII' and 'Builth ½'.

Listed for its special historic interest as one of a series of well-preserved milestones on the A470 between Llangurig and Builth Wells.
