Cadw's description

Located immediately E of the house, the front aligned with the front of the house.

Shown on the Tithe map of 1840. The slate and brick detail suggest that the range was re-worked in the late C19.

A large range with gable-end façade, constructed of shaley rubble stone with slate quoins under a slate roof. All the openings have segmental brick heads and slate reveals. The front façade has 2 doorways, each with split doors and a 2-pane overlight. Between them is a plain-glazed wooden window. Above the window is a planked loft door to the gable. The range continues some distance to the rear but was not seen; some of the roof coverings are of corrugated metal.

No access to interior at time of inspection.

Listed as a large outbuilding retaining C19 character, and for group value with Ty Uchaf.
