History
Cast iron village pump of c1900 of the widely used 'Lion' brand.
Exterior
Cast-iron pump with fluted top, domical cap and finial, projecting spout and long handle to one side.
Reason for designation
Included as a surviving example of the village pumps, once common now relatively rare.
