Cadw's description

Slightly set back from the W side of the country road which leads up the Afon Artro Valley. The barn lies to SW of the house at Crafnant.

Probably C18 cowbarnre-roofed in C20.

A cowbarn, of roughly coursed drystone construction incorporating larger boulders at the base of the walls and large stones as quoins and lintels. Now with a roof of profiled material but retaining stone copings. There is a doorway in the NE lateral wall and the opposing doorway has been enlarged under a raking half dormer roofline which breaks the eaves; pitching hole in NW gable.

Included as a little altered cowbarn which forms a group with the farmhouse and other agricultural buildings which go to form the complete farmstead at Crafnant.
