Location
Slightly set back from the W side of the country road which leads up the Afon Artro Valley. The cowhouse lies directly SW of the house at Crafnant.
History
Probably C18.
Exterior
Small cowhouse or beudy built of roughly coursed rubble masonry with large stones as quoins and lintels. Roof of small old slates with stone copings. The range is built into the slope to SW of the farmhouse, entry is via a doorway in the SE gable and there is a pitching hole in the NE gable; a single small window in the SW lateral wall is now blocked.
Reason for designation
Included as a well preserved cowhouse which forms a group with the farmhouse and other agricultural buildings which go to form the complete farmstead at Crafnant.
