Location
Adjacent to the house on the NW side of the farmyard. Lan Farm is approximately 1.1km W of Capel Panteg, reached by farm road on the S side of a minor road.
History
Built in the mid C19, probably as a secondary dwelling, and first shown on the 1891 Ordnance Survey.
Exterior
A single-storey cottage of whitewashed rubble stone and slate roof with brick stack to the L. Openings are offset to the R. A full-height boarded door is flanked by small lintelled windows, of which the R-hand has wooden shutters.
Reason for designation
Listed as a rare unaltered small vernacular cottage of a type once common in C19 Carmarthenshire and illustratative of regional life and traditions.
