Cadw's description

Right on the northen edge of Llangan Community hard against the M4.

A mid C19 farmhouse, probably c1840, which is externally unaltered. It appears on the 1846 Tithe map but the farm buildings do not.

The house is rendered, probably over local rubblestone with revealed long-and-short quoins, Welsh slate roof. Double fronted central entry plan with a rear wing. Two storeys, five windows, all 8 over 8 sashes, central panelled door in later gabled porch. Brick gable stacks, plain rear wing with replacement factory made casements to road, third gable stack. Rear elevation otherwise rather altered.

Interior not seen at resurvey, but evidently has three main rooms to each floor with a central stair in the entrance hall.

Include as an externally unaltered early/mid C19 Vale farmhouse.
