Cadw's description

Situated 0.6km E of the village beside the by road to Pantymwyn at a crossroads.

D shaped dressed stone with lettering of early C19 character. On the E face the words 'Cilcen 3 1/2 Furlongs', on the W side the words 'Mold 4 miles'. The milestone was almost completely obscured by vegetation at the time of 1995 inspection.

Listed as a good example of a milestone, probably of the early C19.
